Your details and privacy.

Blind Solutions uses the details you enter to record your resource request, give you access and tell our Sales team who requested it. Contact us at sales@blindsolutions.co.za or through our contact page.

What we collect

Your name, email, telephone, optional project and company, the resource requested, the date and your marketing choice. We also record link and resource activity, browser, device, approximate country and a daily pseudonymous visitor identifier. In a recognised browser, resource opens, download requests, use of the share buttons and clicks on tracked brochure links are associated with your saved details. We record the selected product link and PDF page. New or unrecognised browsers are not attributed to the person who forwarded a PDF. Offline reading, saved-file completion and ordinary forwards are not visible to this system. Contact fields marked with an asterisk are required for this resource form. You can contact our team if you prefer another way to request it.

Returning visits and sharing

After you submit, this browser keeps a secure recognition cookie for 180 days. It lets you reopen your resources without signing up again and use your saved details for another resource. Choose “Not you? Forget this browser” on a resource page if you use a shared device. Clearing cookies or using another browser means the form is needed again. Use “Share link with an app”, the email/social shortcuts or “Copy link” to send a resource to someone else; the shared link does not contain your personal access token.

Prefilled invitations

Blind Solutions may send a personal link that prefills contact details already held in this system. The link expires after seven days and stops working if the contact is deleted. Review or clear these details before submitting. Project details remain optional, and prefilled invitations do not select marketing consent. Use the ordinary public share link when forwarding to someone else.

Your marketing choice

Marketing is optional. The checkbox starts unticked, and you can access the resource without opting in. If you opt in, Blind Solutions may email you product news, resources and offers and contact you about your project. We record your choice with its date and notice version.

Unsubscribe whenever you wish

Use “Marketing preferences” on the confirmation page, an unsubscribe link supplied with a marketing message, or email sales@blindsolutions.co.za. Our preference page needs no account or login. Unsubscribing applies across this system’s marketing list and does not remove your resource access. We keep a minimal suppression record so another resource request does not automatically add you back to marketing.

Storage and access

Your details are available to Blind Solutions’ authorised administrator and Sales team. Hosting providers process the form and records, and Microsoft 365 processes the Sales notification. Service infrastructure may operate outside South Africa. This system retains request and activity history until reviewed and removed by Blind Solutions when no longer needed for its purpose or applicable record obligations.

Your rights

You may ask Blind Solutions to access, correct or delete your personal information, object to processing or withdraw marketing consent by contacting Sales. We may need to verify your identity before providing or changing personal records. You can also contact South Africa’s Information Regulator about a privacy concern.
